Hi Guys. Advertisment on Android is not a game. Im sorry to hurt the feelings of the adverstisers on android but this ads contributes almost 75% of your battery drained. This annoying ads where all over almost every game. That's why when you are playing and you accidentally hit it. It goes directly to the page were the ads are linked in. This redirection will cause your browser to open a new window.
Wherein A team of researchers from Purdue University and Microsoft have made a rather starling discovery. It seems apart from being obnoxiously annoying, those pesky ads that pop-up within your Android apps are actually taking up to 75 percent of the app's total power consumption.
Note that here we are talking about 75 percent of the total power consumed by the app and not the phone itself. Which is why don't expect it to see it in the battery manager of your phone because it only shows the total power used by the app, including the power used by the ads. So basically, when your phone tells you An Usual android game used 30 percent of your phone's battery, only 20 percent of that 30 percent was used by the game and the rest was used for showing you ads.
The point is its not really the android system that kills that battery life. Its the ads. So if you settle for no ads game. Then go for the unpaid versions. But we all know that its just a waste of money. What to do now is if you want to play free games. Go on and live with the ads. Batteries can be charged thru charger. So there will be no problem at all. Atleast you are enjoying the game. But for game Devs out there. Why not focus on the sell not on the ads.
