[TUT] Droid VPN

DROIDVPN (easiest way)

This is just a simple tutorial how to use Droid VPN in our Samsung Galaxy Y unit.Droid VPN is an easy to use VPN software for android devices. Droid VPN helps users to unblock regional internet restrictions, web filtering, bypass firewalls, and browse the web anonymously by tunneling all your internet traffic from your android device to our servers.

What separates DroidVPN from other VPN Applications is it can tunnel your traffic through ICMP(IP over ICMP). This means you can browse the internet even if you are only allowed to send ping requests and internet browsing is blocked on your firewall.

1. Root your phone.

2. Download and install DROIDVPN in the Google Play.

3. Signup for a free trial account here: Here

4. Open DROIDVPN. Press MENU, go to SETTINGS and edit the following:
  • For Globe users: Set UDP Port to 9201 and Bind Local Port to 52 (MB15 to 8888)
  • For Smart users: Set UDP Port to 9200 and Bind Local Port to 53

5. Press BACK and click the CONNECT/START button.

6. Wait for the "DroidVPN is now connected" message.

7. Press the HOME button and start browsing.

8. ENJOY! NOTE: tun.ko, terminal emulator, and busybox are NOT NEEDED.
